What can I expect from your website and blog?
Biscuits N’ At will help you with great meal ideas, meal planning, sharing of family favorite recipes as well as relatable stories about enjoying food together with those you love.
Where did the name Biscuits N’ At come from?
I learned to make biscuits from scratch when I was a teenager working at our local Hardee’s fast food restaurant. N’ At is a Pittsburgh slang term for “and all that other stuff”. Having spent my life in a suburb of Pittsburgh, I thought that it combining of the two would give a nod to two things that I love, biscuits (and cooking in general) and Pittsburgh culture.
What are some other topics to be explored?
During Covid, I found that staying home all the time forced me to find hobbies and activities that could be done from home; I imagine you experienced the same! I explored gardening and started with a container gardern of herbs and a few vegetables. Now it is a full scale passion and my husband and I have grown a bigger garden each year. So, gardening will be one other topic to explore. Fun and useful kitchen tools, cooking with grandkids and kitchen organization are other topics you can expect to find!
